The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected, whereby the Legislative Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty &amp;amp; Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. Guthrie backs Paul</title><content type='html'>It has been trumpeted loud and far that Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States.  Ron Paul may have just gotten a better endorsement from a resident of that fine state, from legendary singer-songwriter Arlo Guthrie.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Florida Republican primary took place today.  Ron didn't win.  Results are still coming in, but it is clear that another state has gone by without a real Republican frontrunner emerging. I am almost convinced that parents should teach logic and critical reasoning classes at the dinner table so that the children can learn to filter, dissect and question everything that they learned that day in school and that night at the dinner table.  The world would be much better off if parents just started doing that one little thing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For example, my dad said to get a job and learn some self-responsibility.  Simple enough, right?  Well, my whole life I was taught to try to do right and be a good person.  I see what 25% of the earnings from my job goes toward and it contradicts everything I stand for and learned.  Even if I get a job where I do nothing but help people, 25% of it still goes toward those contradictory things.  What I get in return for my investment is to be criminalized for being fond of a plant, to see my fellow brothers and sisters be oppressed by horrible policy, and to watch people halfway around the globe get blown to bits.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You got the job. He also tried to land his corrupt buddy a job as head of Homeland Security and is &lt;a href="http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2007/11/rudy-giulianis-al-qaeda-connection.php"&gt;business partners with Al-Qaeda friendly Muslims&lt;/a&gt; in the Middle East, the same ones who let the mastermind of 9/11 slip away. Rudy just took another jab at &lt;a href="http://ronpaul2008.com/"&gt;Ron Paul&lt;/a&gt; by denouncing support from people outside of the official Rudy campaign. Someone outside of the Paul campaign has apparently taken out a big ad in the USA Today paper and Ron just recently raised over $4 million in one day through a donation drive that was not affiliated with campaign headquarters. John McCain made a move similar to Giuliani by denouncing support from people outside of his official campaign as well. Oh, and it has surfaced that &lt;a href="http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/politics/2004014926_regan15.html"&gt;News Corp. tried to persuade Judith Regan to commit perjury&lt;/a&gt; in order to protect Rudy's presidential bid.   I'm not trying to play guilt by association either.  I didn't find out any of these things until I already knew how much his politics suck.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I won't even get started on Hillary Clinton's rapsheet. I can easily see how people would be intrigued to vote for her. I've seen her support. Although misguided, it's real. What I really can't figure out is how any accurate poll says that 39% of Americans would vote for Rudy Giuliani to lead this country. I went to comment on the article, couldn't, and ran across a rather redundant commenting policy that I wanted to address.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;"Posts that contain racism, homophobia, bigotry or Antisemitism will be removed and the posters banned."&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Depending on how you define antisemitism, it is either racism or bigotry.  If you view antisemitism as being against semitic people, then it's racism.  If you view antisemitism as strictly a Jewish thing, then it'd be bigotry.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm a Deist, which is basically the religion for freethinkers.  If the comment policy were to be rightfully applied in respects to my particular religion and views then virtually no critical comments would ever be allowed.  There are less freethinkers than there are Jews.  I don't care though.  I invite people to be bigoted towards me.  I love it. Smart money moves the lines.  Odds for Hillary and Rudy have remained relatively stagnant since before the beginning of this election cycle.  The smart money is on Ron Paul, who has went from 2,000:1 down to 6:1 in some places, before the recent publicity and money-bomb, but of course WaPo tries to deflect from that.  &lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"As the presidential road show hits Las Vegas this week for a Democratic debate, the bookmakers have already weighed in: New York Sen. but a logical look at things shows that Ron Paul is doing right when he backs bills like these. Obviously I can't speak for him and I don't wish to wrongly state his views as is done &lt;a href="http://dneiwert.blogspot.com/2007/11/ron-pauls-record-in-congress.html"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;. The above statements by me are simply a common sense way of looking at the various bills listed. Perhaps my favorite thing about that is I can picture dozens of fart-sniffers combing through pages and pages of new donor names while searching for that elusive stinker. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't think it was ever a real issue but the Ron Paul campaign is definitely past the point where a few renegades with iffy ideologies can screw it up. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I still urge new RP'ers to start up and blog and let your voice be heard.  Throw some ads up.  Even the smallest and craziest of RP blogs gets real traffic.  There are millions being spent on advertising for this presidential election, by businesses and campaigns.  It's a good way to get involved and maybe even make a few bucks to donate the next time around.  "Blogs for Ron Paul" absolutely dominates the number of blogs for all of the other candidates.  Add yourself to the zeitgeist. I wonder if many will pick up on that. Got another million in ya for &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veterans_Day"&gt;Veterans Day&lt;/a&gt;?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.ronpaul2008.com/"&gt;Ron Paul&lt;/a&gt; raised $4.2 million dollars on the 5th, very impressive. He is now the Republican front runner, &lt;a href="http://www.ronpaul2008.com/straw-poll-results/"&gt;as if he wasn't already&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The other Republican candidates, although formidable opponents, are simply unelectable in the general. All your base are belong to us and I'm not sorry about that. RP fans I've spoken with and observed are voting for Ron whether he is the Republican, Democratic, Independent or Unity candidate. Most have said they'll vote for him whether he is on there or not. Once you go Ron Paul very rarely do you go back. There is no alternative.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If the Republicans are serious about winning, which I believe most of them are, they'll eventually have to get behind Ron Paul. If Ron goes third party and splits the vote the Republicans have even less of a shot than they do if Rudy, Mitt or Fred get the nomination. For once in our lifetime, perhaps the only chance we'll get, freedom and peace-loving people actually have the power.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We can help you win or we can make sure that you lose. You choose.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If Ron doesn't win it really makes no difference if it's Rudy or Hillary in the White House. People like to call Paul a RINO. The other candidates are DINO, different in name only.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's known that Republicans and Democrats alike are not happy with the direction this country is going. Congress has low approval ratings for different reasons than the media leads the public to believe. They spend way too much time and resources voting on things that shouldn't be in Congress to begin with. Add to that the rampant corruption and persuaded public desire to expect the unexpectable from their leaders then it's very clear why Congress sucks. I really don't understand the logic of people who see that our leaders suck but think that the answer is to expect even more from them. Take away the easy money, don't give them more, and at the same time get out of their way so that the true leaders of the people can get things done effectively. Take away all of the nonsense and we just might be able to get some good things done with the borders, health care system and infrastructure. Islamophobia is killing our kids, and theirs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's been tossed about that Ron Paul should &lt;a href="http://movers-moving-services.blogspot.com/"&gt;move to New Hampshire&lt;/a&gt; in order to win that primary and make a big splash. While a loud presence is a must, I'm not sure basing operations from there is necessary. At the current rate of success Mrs. Paul might as well start picking out new drapes for the Lincoln Bedroom. I could fight it but choose to embrace it.  It seems to be "in the stars" for Ron Paul to be the next president.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The last time I made serious predictions was a few NCAA basketball tournaments ago.  I hadn't watched but a half-dozen or so games that year, but am a freak when it comes to box scores, schedule analysis and team studies.  I usually don't have to watch the games.  I'm not a gambling man by nature but it's needless to say that I'm looking forward to the opportunity to bet on some hoops now and again.  Anyway, in that pool I walked away with the victory before the Elite Eight was finalized.  It was statistically impossible for anyone to catch me.  There were over 70 people who entered but they couldn't compete with someone who had the foresight to nail all but one Sweet Sixteen team and the entire Elite Eight, in a very upset laden year.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are a few key factors to look at when picking the upset.  Perhaps the most important is performance against good teams on the road.  &lt;a href="http://ron%20paul2008.com/"&gt;Ron Paul&lt;/a&gt; isn't just winning a localized Straw Poll here and there.  He is dominating flesh-n-blood vote counts in nearly every state and has been for months.  Heck, Ron almost performs better on the road than at home.  The Republican establishment in Texas doesn't like RP.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Say he entered the tourney as a 12-seed.  When you are the big underdog, there is no better seed to have than the 12.  The 5 only beats the 12 about &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCAA_Men"&gt;68% of the time&lt;/a&gt;.  The 4 beats the 13 about 80% of the time.  Many times you are able to snag some great odds on the 5/12 game despite the 12 having the same historical odds to win as the 11 does over the 6.  Confused yet?  Oh well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The presidential race is a lot like the NCAA tourney, but not exactly.  In the presidential race you essentially start the next round with new seeding.  Ron Paul was a 12-seed for the first round, but he's not anymore.  Ron Paul might just be 1985 Villanova, the #8 who defeated #1 and heavily favored Georgetown to win the whole thing.  Nova had to beat Michigan, Maryland, Memphis St. and Carolina on the way there.  Ron has had to deal with Saul, the NSA, Fred, Carolina and will defeat Georgetown Hillary Clinton to win it all. It doesn't take much driving around to see who local residents are supporting for president.  There are some local elections coming up, so it's really sign country 'round these parts. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have the largest sign presence overall.  I'm not sure about the strategy that Obama fans are using though, as their big "Hope" signs look like they are for Ron Paul.  Hillary Clinton has a lot of yard signs up in North Liberty, a fast-growing city full of recent Iowa grads.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ron Paul has the bumper stickers and bulletin boards wrapped up.  Believe it or not, in these smaller Iowa communities, a little bulletin board posting can morph into the talk of the coffee shop, both of which are usually located inside of the gas station.  As for Iowa City itself, the main attraction of Johnson County, a stroll around the Ped Mall shows that the University of Iowa students are increasingly aware of the only serious Republican contender, Ron Paul.  Obama and Ron Paul have the college vote from what I can see.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;John Edwards has a small visible presence in Johnson County. I will keep all "&lt;a href="http://liberalvaluesblog.com/?p=2322"&gt;SPAM-weenie&lt;/a&gt;" comments to myself at this point in time and focus my attack on the validity of the claims.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nobody can prove that the mails originated from a Ron Paul supporter or supporters.  Honestly, I would really like to see them try to prove it.  The haters might not like where the trail leads.  I want to see who is behind the mails, if anyone, along with solid evidence that the person is a supporter of Ron Paul.  It takes less than a minute to gain access to proxies around the world.  It takes less than an hour to manually harvest about 1,000 emails from sites like &lt;a href="http://craigslist.org/"&gt;Craigslist&lt;/a&gt;.  I'd advise not dipping into that honey pot, just using it as an example of how easy it is to get active email addresses.  Anyone could have sent them, anyone.  I am making this post from Taiwan, while sitting in Iowa.  I just switched it to the Ukraine, because I can.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In addition to the ease of compiling a list and sending e-mails, there is also the factor that a third-party could have been paid to send the mails.  It's done all of the time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, the language used in the title of the mails does not look like it came from an English-first individual.  "&lt;a href="http://ron-paul-2008.blogspot.com/"&gt;Government wasteful spending eliminated by Ron Paul&lt;/a&gt;"  Notice anything a bit off?  "&lt;a href="http://ron-paul-2008.blogspot.com/"&gt;Iraq Scam Exposed, Ron Paul&lt;/a&gt;"  I didn't even look at the body of the mails, no need.  A lot more evidence needs to be presented before any haters can make a logical claim that American Ron Paul supporters are sending out SPAM emails.  So far there is no proof that supporters of Ron Paul sent any SPAM to anyone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Finally, I decided to retract my above statement about holding off on SPAM-weenie comments.  The folks who are raising a stink about a random "Ron Paul SPAM" email need to step back and realize how silly it is to get upset about an email of that nature.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Did someone try to steal your credit card number or PayPal password through the mail in question?  Did someone threaten you or tell you that a family member passed away?  Was spyware or a malicious virus installed on your computer through the email?  I just don't see what the big deal is about a harmless email.  CAN-SPAM was created to protect people from scams not give them an excuse to label every unwanted email as SPAM. His name was listed with several others, including Barack Obama, under the "In The News" section.  Normally I see Mitt or Rudy occupying one of the spots.  Ron Paul is movin' on up.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;His name disappeared from "In The News" after I logged-in to my Google account and went back to the news page.  Oh well, it was there, I swear! Unfortunately, a train was coming, and Ms. DeVall seemed oblivious to that. There she is with the police officer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So Greer Police Officer Marcus O'Shields had to pull the woman from her car, which was then destroyed by the oncoming train. Obviously, Officer O'Shields is a patriot. And we suspect Ms. DeVall is a pinhead. It was recently reported that &lt;a href="http://www.reason.com/blog/show/123037.html"&gt;less than 3% of donors to Ron Paul are maxed out&lt;/a&gt;, so that leaves a lot of room for growth. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let's say that there are 40,000 unique and loyal Ron Paul Meetup members.  If 25% of them meet the $100 donation request on November 5th then they will raise Ron Paul $1,000,000 in a single day.  Impressive, and I'd say that's a conservative estimate of what could happen. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Remember, I'm only counting Internet donations from Ron Paul Meetup members.  &lt;a href="http://www.ronpaul2008.com/"&gt;Ron Paul&lt;/a&gt; has much more support than just Meetup groups.  He got nearly a half-million votes in 1988.  Something tells me that a majority of those people are still alive and most of them will vote for Ron Paul.  I don't participate in Meetups and I'll most likely donate for my first time on that day.  So will many others.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I can already see the hater headlines in early November claiming that the Ron Paul campaign is falling flat because of a monthly fundraising goal that fell a million short.  Boom! That's not saying a whole lot, as there are many more Jews in America than Deists, but we comprise a solid and powerful group of voters.  The Constitution is largely based on principles which Deists live by.  Take the following excerpt from the &lt;a href="http://www.deism.com/deism_defined.htm"&gt;Deism.com&lt;/a&gt; website for example:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;What's Deism's answer to all the evil in the world?  Much of the evil in the world could be overcome or removed if humanity had embraced our God-given reason from our earliest evolutionary stages. After all, all the laws of nature that we've discovered and learned to use to our advantage that make everything from computers to medicine to space travel realities, have existed eternally. But we've decided we'd rather live in superstition and fear instead of learning and gaining knowledge. It's much more soothing to believe we're not responsible for our own actions than to actually do the hard work required for success. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Sound familiar?  It sounds like the basic philosophy for a free-market economy and a non-interventionalist foreign policy if you ask me.  I don't agree with everything that the Deism website has to say but if you'll look around to get a grasp of what Deism is all about you'll see fairly quickly that it is a "religion" which is almost exactly in tune with the message of Ron Paul and our Founding Fathers.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I'm not trying to promote Deism to anyone.  I'm just saying that Ron Paul is very likely to get almost all Deist votes. Sure why not.  &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_29"&gt;Obamanations&lt;/span&gt;?  &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_30"&gt;Obamanible&lt;/span&gt; Multi-colored &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_31"&gt;Snowpersons&lt;/span&gt;?  &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_32"&gt;Billary's&lt;/span&gt; Shills?  Yawn.  &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_33"&gt;Ghoolianis&lt;/span&gt;?  Nope.  Duncan Hunter's family and close friends?  I'll cut him some slack.  I haven't seen his supporters out and about talking smack.  Come to think of it, I haven't seen his supporters anywhere.  Maybe they are building that fence.  Sorry dude.  I guess my point is that at least people have nicknames for supporters of Ron Paul.  At least Ron Paul has visible public support. I haven't seen many of you actively dissing Ron Paul and so far have the impression that your large Internet crowd is, for the most part, fighting fair.  You have your own battle to wage against Hillary so I can't imagine your all that worried about Ron Paul.  Ron Paul versus &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_35"&gt;Barack&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_36"&gt;Obama&lt;/span&gt; in the general election would be a much different story than Paul versus Clinton. "It doesn't mean we aren't working hard throughout the country: governors, mayors, people who deal with children on a regular basis.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"We'll try very hard to override it. But one thing's for sure: We won't rest until those 10 million children have health care," she said in an interview broadcast Sunday.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;Affordable health care is the answer, not health insurance every child who doesn't have it.  I don't want my kid on government welfare health care.  I just want insurance companies, drug companies and my own government to stop making the prices skyrocket.
